Hello! I’m Heather Quirk, a New England-based photographer with a deep passion for storytelling through the lens — especially when it comes to live-action roleplay (LARP). My journey began with a love for fantasy worlds, epic tales and characters that come alive in the most unexpected ways. Growing up, I was captivated by stories of adventure, magic and heroism and it wasn’t long before I discovered the LARP community — a place where these stories are not just told but lived.
What started as a hobby quickly turned into a calling. With my camera, I found a way to honor the dedication, creativity and raw emotion that LARPers pour into their craft. From thunderous battles on misty fields to quiet moments of reflection by campfires, I aim to capture the full spectrum of the LARP experience — the grandeur and the grit, the laughter and the tears.
My photography is more than just pictures; it’s about preserving memories that might otherwise fade, immortalizing the passion and spirit that define every event. I’m drawn to those candid unscripted moments that reveal the true heart of the story — whether it’s a triumphant smile after victory or a fleeting glance of doubt before a quest.
I believe every character has a story worth telling and my mission is to tell it beautifully, honestly and with a touch of cinematic magic. When I’m not behind the camera, you might find me reading fantasy novels, experimenting with new photo techniques or plotting my next LARP adventure.
Thank you for stopping by — I’d love to help bring your story to life, one frame at a time.
